Home > Blog >

Soy candles are candles that are often seen on the market today. They are both classic and not out of fashion, and they are also highly practical.

It is very important to control the temperature of making candles. It is necessary to pay attention to how many degrees to leave the heater, how many degrees to pour into the container, when to add the fragrance, and the proportion to be added.

Otherwise, don't look at soybean candles, just simply pour the wax into the container. Sometimes the simpler it looks, the more things to pay attention to!

Let me take a look at the materials and steps required to DIY soy candles!

Tools and Materials:

1. Wax melting furnace

2. Electronic scale

3. Stainless Steel Measuring Cup

4. candle making thermometer

5. Stainless steel stirring rod

6. aluminum candle wax melting pouring pot

7. Candle Wick Holders

8. Scissors

9. soy wax

10. candle fragrance oils

11. cotton candle wicks

1. Melt the soy wax. The temperature of the wax melting furnace should not be too high, but at least the temperature of the wax should exceed 78 degrees, because the essence will be added later.

2. In the process of melting the wax, you can prepare the glass container and candle wick first.

3. Measure the temperature with a thermometer, add the essence at about 78 degrees, and remember to stir it thoroughly, otherwise it may cause uneven surface!

4. When the temperature drops to 70 degrees, if the temperature is lower than 70 degrees, it can be reheated and poured into the middle of the container quickly and accurately.

5. Wait about 2-3 hours for the wax to set completely, and trim the wick to a height of about 5mm.

6. Done!
